London Institute for Healthcare Engineering to host Radiology AI Summit 2025
Topics: Event, PartnersThe Radiology AI Summit (RAIS) 2025 is an exclusive annual event bringing together 200 leading experts, academics, clinicians, and policymakers to explore the transformative potential of AI in healthcare.
Discussions will focus on clinical validation, safety, regulation, research, real-world applications, and ensuring AI delivers real value in clinical practice. The goal is to drive meaningful policy changes and encourage the wider adoption of AI in healthcare.
The Summit will take place from February 11 to 13 in London and is co-hosted by the London Institute for Healthcare Engineering (LIHE), King’s College London, deepc, and Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The event will be held at inspiring venues, including LIHE, the Institution of Engineering and Technology and The Middle Temple.
Two keynote speakers will headline the event. Dr. Katharine Halliday, President of the Royal College of Radiologists and an expert in paediatric radiology, will share her insights from shaping national guidelines. Professor Andrea Rockall, President of the European Society of Radiologists and a leader in cancer imaging and AI applications in radiology, will discuss her groundbreaking research.
The Radiology AI Summit is focused on addressing the significant challenge of integrating technology into the healthcare system, while also developing a sustainable and effective business model. This is a rare opportunity for industry leaders, academics and clinicians to gather and discuss these challenges.
Professor Sebastien Ourselin FREng FMedSci, Director of the London Institute for Healthcare Engineering
We are excited to be hosting this event at LIHE and to provide a space for all healthcare stakeholders to come together and discuss how to break down barriers to the adoption of AI for the benefit of patients. Impactful, ecosystem-wide initiatives like this are why LIHE is fast becoming the destination for MedTech in the UK.
Dr Nicolas Huber, Director, Commercial Operations and Partnerships, London Institute for Healthcare Engineering
Radiology sits at the forefront of AI’s transformative power in healthcare, and the rapid pace of innovation in AI for radiology is both exciting and challenging—exciting because of the potential to revolutionise patient care, and challenging because the path to meaningful and scalable adoption can be complex. Achieving lasting impact requires close collaboration among researchers, clinicians, and industry. The Radiology AI Summit unites these key players to drive the conversation forward and advance patient outcomes.
Dr. Franz Pfister, CEO and Co-Founder of deepc
This event offers a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge, review recent progress, identify key challenges, and plan the next steps for advancing AI into medical use. It is also a chance to be at the forefront of integrating AI into healthcare practice.
